Aye. Watching the other game now and that is indeed the case.Neill_M wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 4:42 pmGuessing the clock on the live stream was not stopped as strictly as it would be in a Pro game for stoppages and there was time left when though on the stream it said the time was up?big mervyn wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 2:56 pmSaw the last 10 mins of that on the computer in Espana. Why did Armagh play on after the 70 was up? Turned out alright in the end but they played several phases in their own half after the final scrum? Did they not know?

Competition not completed like in 1911.ColonelTiffin wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 10:48 pmLooks like Schools Cup will be shared by RSA & Wallace.
Terrible for the boys but I don’t agree with giving the cup out when it hasn’t been completed.

Don't see a problem with that if it has reached the final.kingofthehill wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 7:36 amCompetition not completed like in 1911.ColonelTiffin wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 10:48 pmLooks like Schools Cup will be shared by RSA & Wallace.

On the other hand, I don't agree, as has been suggested, with going straight to the Pro14 playoffs based on current league positions.

If the competition isn’t completed then it should go down as that. I can’t find any records of what happen in 1911, anybody know?

Often wondered that myself King. It would have been round about the time when opposition to Home Rule was gathering pace. Wonder if civil unrest could have been a factor?kingofthehill wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 10:57 amJust my opinion.big mervyn wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 10:53 amDon't see a problem with that if it has reached the final.kingofthehill wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 7:36 amCompetition not completed like in 1911.ColonelTiffin wrote: ↑Thu Mar 19, 2020 10:48 pmLooks like Schools Cup will be shared by RSA & Wallace.
