Been watching Ulster Rugby since 1956. Your point?damianmcr wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 5:21 pmIs this your first year watching Ulster or rugby in general during a international window?Bobbievee wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 4:43 pm I am delighted when Ulster players play for Ireland. My point is that those who are called to the Ireland camp who are never realistically going to be in the match day 23 , make up training sessions, sit around in Dublin, and are not released back to Ulster in time .......with the knock on UR not releasing players back to clubs.
And yes I did get one last year and watched too many mediocre matches between Ulster B and weak travelling teams. Release from international duties or a radically changed Pro14 format is required.

Likewise No 9. I feel sligjtly guilty that I'm saving money at the moment due to a lack of spending opportunities.UlsterNo9 wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 10:55 pmWould agree with you Merv and if those games do go ahead they'll almost certainly be played behind closed doors, no fans.big mervyn wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 9:11 pm Can't see it meself, but there is talk about finishing it in Aug/Sep - 2 conference games against Irish opposition and then the ko stages.
As for refunds mentioned above I'll not be pursuing mine, hopefully my small contribution will help Ulster Rugby get going again. I've been lucky to not suffer financially from this whole Covid-19 debacle appreciate others are not in the same boat.

... Heineken possibly to finish in Oct according to EPRC. Christ! If they manage all that AND finish the 6N there won't be much space for 20/21.

My point is you've been watching Ulster for 60 years. Whilst it may not always have been the way it is now it has been for a considerable time. So I find it strange that you bought a season ticket last year knowing we lose players and now are complaining.Bobbievee wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 11:47 pmBeen watching Ulster Rugby since 1956. I think the Irish players going to camp is a bonus as we get to see the next generation and blood them. I was thinking about the match against Leinster away and haven't checked but we had, Faddes excluded, a proper A side whereas Leinster had at least 3 Irish Internationals in the starting line up and brought at least Cian Healey plus another off the bench and if Faddes hadn't been binned for nothing we might have got more from the match. I also agree with foregoing the season ticket refund in principle and if there was going to be one it should be a reduction in next years for those that want it.
