That looks a bit ambitious now. I can't think of any redeeming features. Lineout... hah! Creativity... none. Competence... limited. Well, Marcel was his usual rampaging self... that's about it. Maybe the most positive thing we can dream up to say is that we were rusty and it'll all be ok in a week or two. I'm not holding my breath.

Dunno, but he was alright.
Reckon Dan was more intent on giving as many as possible some game time today.
This and next week are the pre-season friendlies before the league proper against Embra.
A win today might have helped the confidence a bit though as we're almost certainly gonna get hoked next week.

But apart from that was everything okay?for dog and ulcer wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 6:53 pm How poor was that!! Burns is not a captain. What does he bring to the side? He has had enough time but makes no waves. Stockdale is not a fullback. Slow and frequently bewildered. Moore? Disgraceful shape for a professional sportsman. Cooney and Coetzee taken off? Herring never appeared. I have no confidence in the coaching and management of the side. Same old story.

Personally think yesterday's results took the edge off our performance. No way would marcel and cooney have came off when they did if we needed the points today. In saying that the aggression wasn't there against a team with nothing to play for which is worrying. Gilroy is our 6th choice winger, pretty fed up with his poor positioning and falling off tackles, for someone with as many caps as he has.

Nothing like a defeat to liven things up on here. Slightly.
I hadn’t realised that it was down to Burns. Thanks for that valuable insight.
We were basically left with two games to get sharp after the Glasgow defeat yesterday. Spreading the minutes around was clearly the plan.
Not too many direct positives to take, although we’ve obviously got a decent 9 in Alby.
What’s wrong with Herring and Marshall? Hopefully not much.

UAFC contributors are brill too.
If it's any consolation I read your post live and it made me laugh. Exactly what I was thinking.

It was Jesus Christ himself who reported it.
He didn’t wish to be associated with such muck.

No, game was meaningless for UR, trying players and combinations, can see what they are trying to do, don't needs fûcks coming on here and slagging them off to be fair, if you don’t like it go back on Twitter bitching about Aggie in Tesco not wearing a mask or you neighbour having a bbq with No social distancing and sharing the same shît house, for dog and ulcer wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 8:56 pm I see the "Ulster are brill" delusions continue post lockdown.

Poor old Marty.
He tried working out in the park and he got touted on to the BT.
