Got my fancy ‘alternative season ticket’ this week.

Comes in a fancy box with a badge and pen an’ all.

Is that the wan that guarantees priority non-access to all the big games?

So fixtures out at 2pm. According to Simon Thomas and Murray Kinsella on the twitter, the season will start as a 2 conference Pro 12 with the Cheetahs and one other South African team potentially playing games in 2021 to make it a Pro 14 again. Southern Kings are toast so to speak. How you go from 12 to 14 sides mid season, unsure.

Pro 16 for 2021/22 with 4 South African sides in the tournament. May be the 4 Super Rugby sides, may be the top 4 from the Super Rugby/Currie Cup combo competition which is running from October to January (Bulls, Sharks, Lions, Stormers, Cheetahs, Griquas and Pumas).

Here's the BBC's update on the Pro14, with respect to the Saffers: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/54265930 As Neill says, how they will move from 12 to 14 in mid-season is anybody's guess.

Round 4 on the day before the US elections. Could our result swing the vote one way or the other?

Any idea why we are in Leinster's group again? I would have thought being losing finalists would have made us the Irish No 2 seeds and therefore drawn with either Connacht or Munster?

We are in year 2 of the current conference set up so they stay the same. Will in theory readjust them for 21/22 and the new Pro 16 set up.
