Catch and drive, John Andrew taking Dragons on by himself/ The ball moves wide, and back inside. Ulster camp on the Dragons 5m line, only to be forced back as the ball gets kicked back into ulsters half

Some nice play by Dragons and good lines of running but Ulster defense holds and forces a knockon error.

Dragons continue to dominate the 14 men, and finally score in the memorial clock corner.
Potential forward pass prior to the score???
But not given, and conversion scored
Ulster 35 - 10 Dragons

A big last effort by Dragons, good line breaks, hands and offloading leads to a try in extra time. the Dragons have managed to finish on a high!

Good solid win although Dragons 'won' the 2nd half. Thirty points up at half time, the best sides kick on and win by 50 not by 25. Still, a bp win keeps us well on track. We're looking good.
Re: Ulster v Dragons Sunday October 25th 3pm
A good breeze down the field ensured it was a game of halves . It is hard to play into the wind - a good wind behind you is good for about 17 points 2 try and a penalty .
its because you have to run the ball out of defence --- kick and you give away possession --and one kick by the opposition and your basically back inside your 22.
Personally when playing i liked to play into the wind the first half and try to deny the opposition possession -- run the clock down and have benefit of the wind in the second and an idea of how many points we needed to win .
The welsh were at their tricks in the scrum in the first half and got penalised for it --once they accepted the fact the referee wasn't falling for their antics the scrum went to ground less often. But then as I pointed out the art of playing against the wind is to run the clock down -- hence look for scrum resets.
The Dragons may not be the best team in the league but they do know the game.
