Cardiff Blues v ULSTER MoTM?

Post by fermain »

A grey game for both sides with the odd splash of colour.

Both sides could have done with their international contingent, and Marcel was sorely missed.

But, all said and done, it's another win, so. :fleg: :red:

Who was yer man of the match?

I’m going for the wee man.

Seemed to be in the right place at the back most of the time and a cracking finish for the match winning score.

Also went for Lowry.

A word for Ethan McIlroy. Acquitted himself well in a couple of pressure situations.

Mike Lowry for me - he actually seems to be getting better and better! Honourable mentions for Cooney, McCloskey and Marty Moore who put in a very solid shift in every sense. Good to see Luke back and McIlroy getting an opportunity- both did well.
Hope is not a strategy.

Agree with Lowry getting it. He had to cope with terrible conditions but did little wrong and his scrambling back when Cardiff hacked through was really good. He also took his try very well.

Was it my eyes or was Luke Marshall carrying a bit of extra weight??

I'm going for big Treadwell. He seemed to be the only one making regular ground with his carries.

Would love to vote for someone, but I can't - fell asleep early in first half while watching it.

Captivating stuff ... not.
