It's definitely absolutely without a shadow of a doubt (probably?! ) Conor Joyce in the same match: Date of birth 5 July 1993

Ulster debut aged 18 years 5 months and 21 days.

He was at the time the youngest player to play professionally for any of the Irish provinces. Not sure if that's still the case. Some young pup has probably bested that for Leinster.

No wonder Leinster tanked us
  good man Merv, considering most of these guys come through the schools pathway and are 18 upon leaving that has to be a record that will stand a while.

That really was a team sent to the slaughter kids with McComb playing out of position at blindside to boot.

Oldest Players

Stefan Terblanche 36yrs 10mths 17days (Vs Leinster HC Final 2012)
Rory Best 36yrs 9mths 2days (Vs Glasglow Pro14 Semi 2019)

I don't think Terblanche will be beaten

David Humphreys is another one worthy of a mention 36yrs 7 mths 29 days v Cardiff 2008

...and Rab Irwin was 36 when Ulster won the European Cup. Can't find his birthdate though.

Alby is the auld lad in the current squad - he'll be 35 on Dec 13.

QBs take less contact that Ian humph did. Its a virtual crime to touch them when they run.

Years have names???

I have no idea what 1998's name was.
Surely "1998" is the name? I'm off to copywrite 2022. I'll make a small fortune licensing it to the calendar/ diary industry.
That's not a name, that's a number - you can't copywrite a number - hard luck. :D
What if you spell it? Are you trying to say Joe Ninety isn't a real name?
Of course Joe Ninety's a real name.

Fictitious person maybe but a real name.

Not a date though like 2022.

There's a real person in Derry called Juan.

Mr and Mrs Kerr should have given it a bit more thought.
