Artificial pitches should have no place in rugby. They pose a massive problem for players' knees and ankles.

Good solid result, well worked. Anybody got any ideas why we don't use our backs more?

But . . . but . . . Sarries have one, and if they have one, it must be the best!

oh . . . yeah, sorry . . . I agree. :duh:

Apart from player welfare, they also give a massive advantage to teams used to playing on them against teams not used to them. I guess Ulster at least train on a small one, but I think the most that should be allowed is them thar ones with plastic grass through natural turf (Aviva?).

Leinster win 35 - 15. How could I ever have thought that Dragons being ahead at half time indicated that they might hang on for a win?

Hope so - or close to.

Could do with building his match fitness.

35-29 in the end. Dragons had possession in the red and kicked it out for the losing bonus point. Sums up the ambition of Welsh Rugby.

Thought ref had a decent game, but that was certainly my one major gripe.

oops, I thought 35 - 15 was the final score.

Just heard Fez and the other bloke (looks not unlike a younger Michael Palin) talk about a really exciting run for the Pro 14. Nah. Our game with Leinster will be exciting but, apart from that one, can we really see Leinster dropping any points against anyone else? Actually, can we really see them not getting a full five against anyone else?

Yea he’s way off the boil but nothing like a few matches to get the base sorted then hopefully into a good pre-season here

One forlorn hope might be for an Italian ref, Italian TJs and Italian TMO (especially that last one) against Zebre during the 6N.

Nah, not even that would do it ... :duh:

Anyone else think Marty Moore is down a dress size? Don't know if it suits his game.

Sure he has all the curves in the right places to attract Farrell now, but it wasn't that he wasn't athletic before, he just didn't look it.
