Thought for the day

Post by rumncoke »

' Lose your dreams and you will lose your mind
Ain't life unkind "

Is that why the elderly suffer from dementia ?

No.

Dementia in its many forms comes from different physical problems withing the brain, not from losing one's dreams.

Also, it's not just the elderly who suffer from dementia.

Good title for the thread though - it will keep my brain active trying to work out what it means.

Not that that will make any difference to whether I suffer from dementia, now or in the future ...

One of the happiest moments in life is when you find the courage to let go of what you cannot change.

Yes No9. That is on the curriculum at the University of Life. Sadly some drop out and others graduate.

Oh, I do apologise - I didn't know that Keith Richards was a psychogeriatrician, or that disagreeing with your extrapolation necessarily meant that I don't love my (???) stones.

Sadly so true.

I am most fortunate - I came into this world with nothing and still have most of it left.
