I'm Not an expert, not always right, I'm just enthusiastic....well most of the time!

Re: Injury Update
If he's fit enough AND it suits Ulster then he may play a few games in the Rainbow Cup. However Ulster's priority is to build towards next season and getting players who will be playing for them next season exposure at this level. If he can be accommodated within that then fine.....unless the Bulls want to throw over another whack of cash to get him earlier.Keyboard Warrior wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 2:12 pm Marcel out for the foreseeable it seems

However, as a positive, Coetzee’s latest setback will not require an operation, meaning that there is a chance he could still prove his fitness in the Rainbow Cup.
‘This is obviously not something that someone wants to overcome,’ Coetzee told Sunday newspaper Rapport. ‘But I am very positive that I will be ready by mid-June, depending on how the recovery process goes.
‘I will play a few games in the Rainbow Cup. That way I can throw my name into the hat [for Springbok selection].
‘I have had a similar injury to my left leg. With good rehabilitation and rest, it will recover nicely.’
Re: Injury Update
It will be a bit of a surprise if he'f fit for any of these matches. I agree that we should be working with our available players to prepare for next season.

"Sadly, rugby is now heading the way of soccer, fueled by pitiful websites and the anonymous vitriol of cowards." Tony Ward once again refocusing away from the real problems in Irish Rugby.

DMcF saying in press interviews via twitter that he is optimistic that Addison could play in the G&B Cup.
Re: Injury Update
He has been 14 months out. Quite shocked at that. I knew it was a very long time.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
Re: Injury Update
Very Happy Addison & Curtis are close - wouldn’t overly concern me if they were wrapped up til next season if it means they are 100% top nick ready after a full pre season.
We’ll have a hell of a deck to choose from in the backline if people can stay fit.
If Addison can stay fit at 15, I would fully expect Stockdale & Balacoune to reap the rewards.

What’s the craic with Henderson, Addison and Coetzee here?
You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

Re: Injury Update
Hendy is being monitored daily apparently so is a possibility for Saturday. Coetzee I think was ruled out of the euro Cup but hoped to play in the zippy rainbow bollix. Addison is back training. There was footage of him taking part. I would imagine he would need 45 mins in an A game or something first. He hasn't played in 14 months.

I would be very surprised if Izzy isn't an ACL gone

Be surprised if there is not some damage there. The fact that he hobbled off would give some hope it has not gone completely but I wouldn't expect to see him for quite a while.chunky wrote:I would be very surprised if Izzy isn't an ACL gone

I seem to remember RG Snyman limping off when he tore his ACL.jean valjean wrote:Be surprised if there is not some damage there.
