Thank you Louis Ludik!
So, as expected, Louis Ludik has finally called it a day. He has been a real asset for Ulster, and I would go as far as to say our most consistent player when on the field. He always put his body on the line and made some superb tackles. He was equally robust in attack and made many assists to scores as well as scoring a few peachy tries himself.
The epitome of an honest hard working player who left it all out on the pitch, and is real gentleman off the pitch, Louis will be sorely missed.
Glad to hear he is staying in Ulster to further his meat business.
Thank you Louis for your excellent service to Ulster Rugby, and good luck with you life beyond rugby! You are forever an Ulsterman!

Best pound for pound tackler I can recall. Great technique. Paul Steinmetz was another like that.
All the best, Louis!

I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Never gave less than 100%. A true team player. Not a journeyman bone in his body but a true Ulsterman, committed to the team, the squad and the supporters. May not have been as outrageously talented as a couple of other SA team-mates, but a good player nonetheless as a brave player who put his body on the line time and again for the cause. He will be missed.

A great utility player --- a must have for Ulster because we lack SID in many positions in the backline , too brave for his own good on many occasions -- a player who understood what it was to be an ULSTERMAN.

Great last line of defence who never shied away from a challenge. Wish him well.

Thanks Louis. A real fan favourite who never gave less than 100%. As good a role model for the younger players as you could hope for.

Wonderful lower profile signing, as good a back as you could have hoped to sign for the money.
