Will he play many games ?

His record up to now suggests that week in, week out, is no problem to him.
Maybe he will teach some of our lot what the secret is

Wouldn't be like a big money NIQ (we pin all our hopes on) to get injured...
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
Re: Duane Vermeulen
That was a good start
Re: Duane Vermeulen
For a man who didn’t know the calls, the plays or the abilities of the guys around him, he fitted in pretty well.
Got a warm fuzzy feeling seeing him in an Ulster shirt (even if it wasn’t white).

One of the little things I noticed was the number of times he was first over the tackled ball carrier Securing the breakdown and preventing the turnover. He may not be the Hollywood carrier of MC, but may just be the wise old hand that helps the young pups coming through and does the right thing at the right time.

Great quote.

I love that. Exactly the killer instinct we need.

Fairly sure Kasparov played to win although I guess he had to settle for a few draws.

"The Queen's Gambit" was worth watching.
So is Duane! Really fascinating to follow him throughout the game - he's always there or thereabouts.

I was under the impression he retired from SA after the Nov Ints. Interesting remarks re looking to get to ‘23 WC with SA.

I started to watch DV closely in the Autumn internationals. Never seems to be galloping about but as you say is always there or thereabouts at the breakdown. Immensely strong in mauls and breakdowns. And consistently plays 80 minutes. With all that strapping.... Without "rotation" ........at international standard. .......... week in , week out. What is there not to like?
