It also seems to have hit home that 3 points in the hand is worth more than 7 in the bush!

Great day to be an Ulster man living in France. The French commentators are salivating over Lowry and Cooney!

Castre away from home was special because it was our first competitive win away in France so it got that monkey off our back, but that today was special.
I was lucky enough to be on the team flight home from Castre, and the atmosphere was absolutely superb. The boys can enjoy their trip home tonight too.

Think they have been used to hyperbole over their BIG big players that steamroller teams, so good that they can recognise good play by the little uns.Cap'n Grumpy wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 8:45 pmThat is NOT hygienic!Andy_in_France wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 8:44 pm Great day to be an Ulster man living in France. This is France. Since when has hygiene been an issue?Cap'n Grumpy wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 8:45 pmThat is NOT hygienic!Andy_in_France wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 8:44 pm Great day to be an Ulster man living in France. The French commentators are salivating over Lowry and Cooney!

Ulster have lost about 6 genuine starters and people still like to moan about ulster performances. Ulster have beaten Clermont and Leinster away from home.
I thought it was bad on this forum but Facebook is another level of plonkers who know little about the game.

Great great win. And yes, well done to all of the coaching team. The defence this season has really moved up a notch so we’ll done to Jared. Their tries were great bits of skill but we had the structure throughout. Great bravery from the likes of Lowry and McIlroy.
Lineout bar one was great and pack competed well. Herring, Tredwell, Timoney and Vermeulen in particular were great and Marcus Rea did rightly bearing in mind 3 games ago he wasn’t even in the frame this season.
Attack was very good, led by the centres. Hume was exceptional. They are unlucky that Henshaw is one of the best 12’s in world rugby and Ringrose and Aki are going really well, but they are pushing them.
John Cooney loves this competition.

A pack missing our two best props, a Lions second row and the young McCann best Clermont at home. Fantastic!
Andrew has to be scratching his head, Herring played the full 80.
