Fantastic start from Billy Burns.

Looks like we're playing off 10 rather than 9 which is a shift in our normal play.

What a one handed pick up from Lowry! Nice link from the cat.

0-12 Ulster

This is a pleasant surprise.

Why wasn't that Saints try referred for the bleeding obvious forward pass?

10 - 19 HT

We're good for the lead but our set piece looks wobbly. Need to keep our focus in the second half.

That was avery satisfactory first half. Doak is in no way daunted by the big game, Lowry and Baloucoune have been superb, and I think Billy Burns may have his mojo back. Haven't seen him make a try-creating chip like that since the one he did for Stockdale for Ireland against England. Having Madge on the bench seems to be having the desired effect.

Massive inquisition into that Lowry try but barely a replay for Northamptons. Grgh. Happy otherwise.

French ref. Not filling me with confidence. Lowry is a gem. Hume playing well, hopefully ballybeen gets more ball second half

Excellent 1st half, would still be more than happy with a bonus point of any description.

@TheLaw - Ballybean :lol:

Once again no referral for an obviously not-obvious on-field action.🤷‍♂️

The ref has already decided we aren't going to win this.
