Looks like Leinster have lined up that big name SH lock they were after as Dunne’s replacement.

1 game all season for Munster, injuries, very low key. Expected them to get someone higher profile etc. The reaction in Dublin and Limerick should be interesting.

Two defeats from the last three for the D4 blues. Lovely.

Was a cracking game, several levels of intensity above what we saw on Friday night. Ospreys and Cardiff doing the league a favour this weekend.

Agreed Jean Friday night at Ravenhill wasn’t great but the difference is that Ulster came away with. 5pts. Whilst not disputing Leinster are a good side but Perhaps not as good as in the past nor perhaps as good as the Babbling Brook dwellers believe.

A fair bit of rustiness in the first half (about half the squad hadn't played at that level for nearly two months) plus some truly awful decision making in the last 10 minutes cost them. The likes of Cronin and Toner, both great servants for Leinster for a decade, also look to be in real decline. The improvement in the pack when they were replaced by Tracy and Molony respectively was noticeable.

Cardiff won the turnover battle too plus they exposed Leinster's defence with their kicking game in behind. Not sure why Ross Byrne was being employed as one of the two players covering the backfield. His lack of pace was badly exposed for Cardiff's first try in particular.

Leinster seconds are not as good as Leinster firsts as stated some of the OLD hands are starting to fade but Leinster seconds can still give most teams a round for their money

The Welsh being the Welsh, they could win the Grand Slam and the RWC and still find something to moan about.
