Is Moore still with us as injury cover at hooker as a general question?

Hardly let the injury cover lad go back to Munster if there are still injuries?

Sure we've never had issues bringing injured players in, why not let fit players leave. He was brought up when we only had 2 senior hookers fit though.

Jaco Peyper takes charge of Ulster vs Scarlets. Peter Martin and Andrew Cole the assistants, Olly Hodges the TMO.

McFarland also confirms that John Cooney and Stuart McCloskey are "unlikely" to be available this weekend.

The only refs to get more than one game in charge during the 6N are Mr Peyper and……

Mighty Mike Adamson!

Not sure 'released' is the right word. They have no right to him outside the Feb/March 6 Nations window.

Going to be very light with players this week, esp in the backs. Should make for an exciting team tho.

Front row
Think we’re grand at LH. Would like to see Reid get some game time. Bit thin at hooker and TH - especially when Roberts is away next week that only leaves Andrew. Not sure what Tom Stewart is like injury wise, McCormick would be next up but he could be away with Ire U20s! Bit loose at TH too, only Moore and Kane in the ranks atm with Milo away at Sarries.

Second row
Carter, AOC, DOC all available. Is Kearney still here? Hope Izzy is back soon. Would like to see some of Sheridan, but he might also be U20s?

BR
Think we’ll have Vermeulen, the Rea bros, Reidy, Jones and McCann to choose from. Reidy seems to have gone missing. Vermeulen might need a week off this week.

SH
No Cooney, so it’ll be Doak and Shahanan. Finlay was part of the warm up on Sat.

FH
Hopefully BB and Mads can both get some game time the next few weeks. Humphreys is also an option, as is Curtis, but we’re likely to need him at centre.

Centre
If Moore is injured that’s a big blow. McCloskey shouldn’t be too far away tho. Curtis and Moxham will probs be at 12/13 against Scarlets if Moore is injured. Both seem to be solid defensively but maybe just lack a bit of spark. Curtis was decent on sat night tho. Would like to see Postlethwaite get some game time either at 13 or on the wing, looked impressive in the pre season friendlies.

Back 3
Gilroy, Lyttle and McIlroy is a solid back 3. Beyond that tho I’m not sure, hopefully Sexton will get some game time, he’s in danger of being left behind in the back 3. Postlethwaite is an option too. Moxham can also cover if needs be.

Dan McFarland said at the presser earlier that McCloskey was unlikely to play on Friday. Re the 20s question, in the past the province has had 1st call over Ireland 20s for a player I think.
