Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal

Post by big mervyn »

For anybody who wants to offer some tangible support to Ukrainian refugees, I will be doing an 8 hr (gulp!) Spinathon on Fri March 25 in aid of the Disasters Emergency Committee appeal.

Basically, I will be attempting to complete 8 consecutive spin classes with a 5 min break between each. Downsides are I'm nearly 60, I've never been on a spin bike for more than an hour and I've only got 10 days to prepare! On the upside, there's a defibrillator onsite and there's free pizza! What could possibly go wrong?

Anyway, if anybody does want to make a small donation, here's a link to the Just Giving page. Don't forget, if you tick the Gift Aid box Rishi Sunak will add £2.50 for every £10 donated :thumleft:

Thanks! I did have a few on Fri evening >burp Not too bad apart from a wee bit of tightness in the legs and a bit of a sore head . Obviously due to dehydration and not the drink!
