A terrible pool the Irish are in but a pool were a Team may succeed due the results of other games rather than by winning all their matches .

If ulster can bring at least 3-4 of those forwards through we will be in a good place over the next number of years.

Crothers is a smart rugby player and McCormick is more than useful at hooker.

Mcnabney is u19 captain playing a year above himself. 6ft 4/6ft 5 backrower with his pace is rare enough in ulster rugby.

Postlewaithe is the top prospect from this batch, although not named in the squad.

I like the cut of McLoughlin. A bit of grit to him.

Some are missing through injury so I presume Jude would be there as he was very impressive in the 6 nations. McNabney looks interesting - a little raw I thought in the 6 nations but he could have learned from that and for an u19 he saw some decent gametime in the 6 nations.
Charlie Irvine is supposed to be a talented lock? u19 I think and maybe a bit of a beanpole at this stage- haven't seen him play but he's been mentioned before.
So a hooker, prop, lock and potentially an all ulster back row McLaughlin-Crothers-McNabney- Theres also Joe Hopes at lock for the u19 who isn't touring- not bad, we could be doing well if a couple can come through from that lot.

It will be a very good test of these players against France, England and SA. Their players are usually physically superior to the less resourced nations, including ireland.

All Ulster backrow. The other provinces are pathetic.

Yeah and two locks, 2 hookers and an out half on the bench I think. Hopefully a few of these lads are prospects that can step up.

Not going well 7 - 27 after 55 minutes. The French forwards are seriously big lads.
