For all the gnashing on here about Ulster's weak mentality after the Munster defeat post Toulouse, it seems like the other 2 Irish teams who suffered late heartbreak in Europe also struggled to recover
Re: Nursing a semi
Ulster and Stormers were higher seeded than Bulls so winner so winner should have home advantage
Re: Nursing a semi
Any official word on the crucial penalty?
Re: Nursing a semi
Very unlike Leinster. I wonder how much of a mental boost will it give the Ulster squad knowing the bluenoses are out.Bart S wrote:For all the gnashing on here about Ulster's weak mentality after the Munster defeat post Toulouse, it seems like the other 2 Irish teams who suffered late heartbreak in Europe also struggled to recover

Re: Nursing a semi
From URC website (https://www.unitedrugby.com/latest/news ... 18-clashes )
"League rankings determined which teams were placed into each Final Eight fixture with home advantage in the Final Four going to the winners of Quarter-final 1 and Quarter-final 2. Home advantage for the URC Grand Final going to the team with the highest ranking."
So in answer to your question, it should be at Ravenspan.

I wonder will the bulls wait now to see the result of tomorrow to decide whether to travel back to SA?

That was my thinking but I was told Bulls carry forward Leinster’s ranking as they beat them !!!!

Re: Nursing a semi
Apparently not. Beating a higher ranked team in the qf gave you home advantage in the semi, but Final will be at the home of tomorrow's winner. That's what they're saying on TV, and no reason to doubt it.Rovi Snave wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 9:43 pm That was my thinking but I was told Bulls carry forward Leinster’s ranking as they beat them !!!!
