Next season's Heineken Cup
The draw for next season's Heineken Cup and Challenge Cup takes place next Tuesday.
If I've understood it right, Ulster, as URC semi-finalists, are in tier two, and will play home and away against one of the tier three teams from the Top 14, and one of the tier three teams from the Premiership - so that'll be La Rochelle or Racing, and Gloucester or Sale. It'd be just our luck to get the champions. Leinster are also in tier two, so they'll play whichever of those four we don't. Munster are in tier three, so they'll play a French team and an English team from tier two - Bordeaux-Begles or Toulouse, and Harlequins or Northampton. London Irish are in tier four (they'll play Castres or Montpellier, and the Stormers or the Bulls), and we could conceivably meet them in the knockout stage, which could be interesting.
Connacht are tier two in the Challenge Cup, so they'll play tier two teams from France and England - Stade Francais or Brive, and Worcester or Newcastle.

Paddy, I'll just let you and others work this out. I can't get my head round the mechanics of this.

Re: Next season's Heineken Cup
I thought the red button worked the same across all BBC channels.
Ya live and learn, a say - ya live and learn.
Or maybe ya don't.
How does one get BBC7 anyway?
Is it on the red button?
