Why would we want to play Glasgow? Could we not get another English side, meaybe even a French team?

Should be free to all
Why should loyal folks , especially under 18s, pay good money to watch a training session.?
I will pass my ST onto anyone actually interested in this con trick

Cost. We would need to pay an Engerlish or Frenchy team to come here for what is after all just a training session against players from outside our own squad. Can get as much out of playing Weegies (training -wise), maybe more, than playing some team from a different league.solidarity wrote: ↑Fri Jun 24, 2022 8:05 pm Why would we want to play Glasgow? It's just a warm up session, nothing more, nothing less.

Of course, why didn't I spot it... all comes down to cash. Well, almost all. For me, a match is still a match, 'traning session' or not.

Maybe they could put up some silverware for the Glasgow game, former club of our current CEO.
Could name it The Petrie Dish.

Tres funny, but the Petri Dish would imply some sort of culture, and I don't think Glasgow has enough!
