My recollection is that Dan said we might see DV about then but Irish players only miss week 1!
OK, so two different versions then. Time will tell.

The biggest ‘learning’ from tonight was that JC uses Nivea for Men.

There was a question about how Hume is getting on.

Dan said the Irish players will miss Round 1 anyway but Hume is doubtful for Round 2 and that it’s only right to ease him back gently as he’s missed pre-season.

Any mention of Stockdale, Addison and Baloucoune?

I wasn’t there but Stockdale and the Cat are back to full training.

Addison taking part but not back to full training,I’m guessing a slight set back from the end of last season.

Upon further investigation, your information is sound Sir, so back for the Scarlets game.

Well the bar wasn’t serving booze so the memory was working better than usual!

Sounded like Dan liked McNabney - said he was a “big man”.

Noticed that the URC got some stick on Twitter for asking where you’ll be watching the opening round (along the lines of why don’t you tell us when the games are first?!)

Got an email from the URC yesterday, when I was out of the country, asking me to complete a survey.

I don’t normally bother but I thought I’d take a look this morning.

Turns out they have already “had enough responses” and have closed the survey!

Presumably, they had got whatever result they were looking for.

It feels like we have a lot fewer Friday games. Is that right or am I over thinking it? If so it would be a shame, Friday is undoubtedly the best slot for a league game. Saturday pm is maybe best for a euro game. Sunday is no use to man nor beast.

7 home games in the league last season were scheduled for a Friday night (in reality there was 8 as the Connacht game from Boxing Day (Sunday) was moved to during the 6N due to COVID), we have 5 this season.

Last season we had 1 scheduled Saturday night home game v 3 this year.
