Yes. Spanish TV doesn't seem to have a "watershed" as such. Amazing what is broadcast in the afternoons.

Their new reports are also much more graphic.

John Berger's series, 'Ways of Seeing', from the 70's, is great. The last of the four is on advertising and shows what Merv is talking about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jTUebm73IY. Pity the picture quality is poor; might be a better one somewhere.

Truly dreadful. Imagine the worst school play you've ever seen. That would have been much better.

No plot no direction and a load of posh kids pretending they're from the Shankill and failing miserably.

That's 2 hrs and £24 I'm not getting back.

Sorry if any of yer weans or grandweans were involved but the truth never hurts the teller
Seen The Gap Year yet Merv?

I was a bit young for it but it’s probably right up your street.

The FBI working in European contries to catch bad guys, doing it by shouting at incompetent local police until they cave in and let them do what they want. American imperialism at its worst. I'll watch the episode where they are in Norn Irn, just to see how terrible it is.

Can't wait for the rugby season to start - I'm watching far too much garbage.
So I gave up International Solids but, get ready, Norn Irn is on this coming Thursday….!

Been watching the Dahmer thing on Netflix.

It's alright but they've dragged it out a bit and David Tennants portrayal of Dennis Nilson was much more gripping.

I though My Friend Dahmer was good - think it was on again last night so it’s available on All4 at the moment.

We cancelled Netflix and signed up to Apple TV 2 or 3 months ago, an absolute bargain at £4.99 per month. Blackbird and 5 Days at Memorial are the two best things we have seen, both really good, while Truth be Told, Severance and The Morning Show have been really enjoyable too. Ted Lasso has probably been the worst series we have watched, and it was ok. Apple seems to be producing less shows than other streaming services, but haven't come across one bad film or series yet.

The Blame Game.

Who do I blame for inviting that talentless Turkey-teethed tosser on to my television?

I'm surprised that nobody has commented on SAS Rogue Heroes on the Beeb. Binged it last week and thoroughly enjoyed the series. A question to any local historians on here. Was Paddy Maine as mental as he is portrayed in this program?

Haven't watched it but there seems to be a sizeable body of historical opinion that believes he was psychotic. Possibly the definitive man for his time? The incident where he essentially led the summary execution of a room full of Italian and German pilots would certainly be held up to some scrutiny these days.
