He couldn't decide between GAA and rugby. That caused an issue rather than his ability.
Hmmm, interesting. What sort of arrangement did Leinster offer that Ulster didn't?
As far as I know he played GAA for Ardara for a bit after Ulster. More recently he has been playing rugby for Terenure. I guess he got the GAA out of his system and is now giving rugby the full attention.
I suppose if we can take some of heir rejects, they can take one of ours.

He's not contracted to play with Leinster, they just selected a few club players to pad out the squad for the game against Chile.

Aha. So, if he looks any good, we could bring him back up here. Well, worth keeping in mind.

I saw him play in the AIL last season but I was too busy trying to prevent frostbite to really keep tabs on him.

Munster are awful. Would happily take Beirne but they could keep the rest.

That’s the fourth bet in a row that I’ve lost to the handicap being spot on. A treble this time

What was I thinking?

John Ryan has said he’s leaving Munster at the end of Jan.

Wonder if they’ll pick him against us or give some of their dung a game?

Munster confirm that John Ryan is moving on after his short-term stint. Destination, Waikato where he'll be linking up with the Chiefs in Super Rugby

Hmmm, this is a shocker. Italy prop Cherif Traorè given rotten banana in club Secret Santa.
