Being a total what-if merchant, if McCloskey hadn't mouthed off and we had a penalty reversed that could have been the most unlikely of victories.

Not got tv coverage so can't see it, have been told there were some SR fans in the ground. Not sure if it's BS?

Probably spared us getting into a position to bottle the complete come back.

Kicking in the second half was far better. Pinned LR back rather than just hoofing it in the air.
It’s been a while since we saw some fight.
The LR fatties got a bit tired and pinning them back frustrated them. Well done for that second half lads.

Wise up - for all the positives we lost - Ulster were crap in the first half and La Rochelle switched off in second half - the underlying problems still exist

Once he played a bit more off the cuff he was certainly a step up. Ulster have missed having a 10 who can throw a fast skip pass to 13. With a fit and firing back 3 we need to get the ball wide quickly at times.

Agreed. Billy is not a great passing 10.
