I like Tredders.

His new side-on, low carrying style is pretty effective but, on the other hand, he’s not going to break the line doing that.

He’s got the speed and the power to do it, as we have seen on occasions.

Ewars would be an odd signing for world cup year..is he a NIQ?

Can we have Roos and Ewars or is that just gready?
You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

Roos would break the piggy bank. I reckon Ewers wouldn’t be so expensive.

Carter getting an extension.

Nothing to do with Ulster just on his house.

Maybe Ulster are paying for it. Might explain the recent accounts.

Funny enough I was planning to come on and suggest this as a ‘rumour’ even before I heard about Gibbes. Fair to say the Clermont adventure hasnt worked out for him, and Payne will likely struggle to keep a seat at the table under a new boss - I was wondering if he’d be open to coming back, if for example Soper was going to be busted back to skills and Bell jettisoned… Jared certainly liked living here from what I heard (and as some local pub landlords can testify to Image)

Ewers has been a brilliant and much under-rated player for years, would be a left field signing. I honestly don’t know what to make of it I haven’t seen enough of him recently to know how much gas he would have in the tank, which would be my main concern.. he certainly has plenty of dog, and can carry, both qualities where we are in deficit.. he would probably not be especially pricy, so could be a very shrewd signing

His gas tank is still full. As you say an underrated player but exactly the type of player we need.
