You think they could work something into the 'Protocol' negotiations so that we get Stormont functioning properly and UR bck to winning ways as a job lot?

We may no longer be an old boys network when it comes to players but Malone, Bell and Cunningham all are and need to vacate….
Cunningham responsible for organisation strategy and development and succession plan of the organisation.. going backwards as was bringing Bell back

You can’t seriously begrudge Peel and Payne for leaving. Forget anything else, these guys are out to earn a living and if that means getting a promotion/better lifestyle/more money, they’d be silly not to go. Any one of us would do the same.
Soper is a seriously good coach, as was/is Payne. Peel hit or miss. Soper could well be our next head coach, he’s good enough to be
I hear Dan is starting to be a lot more involved in day to day coaching especially now Peel and Payne are gone

Who is the backs coach? It strikes me that we lost two backs who were coaches, but mostly now Dan fills in the blanks? Are we missing a trick here. Some backs literally going backwards. Some younger ones not developing.

Soper.
Given that he worked with the likes of Lowry and Hume before (and the defence was working), his appointment (over Payne) was understandable.
Hume and Bobby haven’t been fully fit all season - the effect of that has been severely underestimated.
Lowry and Doak have suffered a bit from second season syndrome.
The weather hasn’t helped.
There were signs against Stormers that things were getting better again.
We know we can play better and are not in bad shape notwithstanding that.
We’re obviously getting to the stage when we need to get it right.
