They should recruit overseas.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
Re: Any word on the Academy?
Mark Lee, has been playing week in, week out for Rainey as has Adam Montgomery. Although Mark Lee, Rainey are having to go every sunday to chase Ulster Rugby to see if they will release him, due to Ulster/Ireland having him on a weight training programme and development programme. Was talking to someone recently, and apparently the club don't think he'll be released over the next while, due to him being almost certain to go to France with Ireland U19s
Word also has it, if he had of made the last Irish camp down in Dublin shortly after Christmas, he would of been involved with Ireland U20s at present, but he missed the training camp due to getting concussed in the first 10/15 minutes of the Friendly the A Team played against Ealing Trailfinders before Christmas at Meadowbank in Magherafelt

None of the schools cup finals boys included from Leinster, Munster or ulster.
Arguably a stronger squad in the 2nd match.

Watch Leinster Schools final on YouTube
Watching Blackrock was akin to watching Leinster
Progressing or rumbling up the pitch in 3 man pods virtually unstoppable because the ball carrier went into falling on the turn to feed with his “props “taking out the would be tackler and would be ruckers .
Being a larger and more mature pack and thus drilled in possession they were virtually unstoppable .
Because they have been drilled in that game and perfecting the approach makes it easy to proceed into the representative teams .
They may not the best players but their game approach in possession is virtually error free

It also means that Dublin teams are now dominating AIL 1A, with 4 of the top 6 being Dublin basedrumncoke wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 3:54 pm Watch Leinster Schools final on YouTube

Re: Any word on the Academy?
Anyone got a link or live stream to the game?
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!

Re: Any word on the Academy?
I know
But the fact remains in possession the Blackrock forwards ruled and lost due to a quickly taken penalty and a blotched defending a kick into the corner .
Gaza had a second row ruling the lineout and a fluid attacking backline but the maturer forwards of Blackrock were methodical and very well drilled to a professional standard

Congrats to Cooney’s alma mater.
Nobody seems to have mentioned the Ulster final yet which was a good contest.
