It would make no difference to Ulster. He only plays a couple of games per year. A big pay out in Japan linking up with PJ would be cool.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

While I agree that we have not seen much of hendo in recent times if he was allowed to go it really does cast a negative light on how the IRFU view ulster. The central contracts have never been solely about the best players in the country, POM, Murray etc were kept on board to help balance the books at munster. Where would ulster get a like for like replacement?

So now that Matty Rea has won 150k in a competition does that mean UR will feel they can let him go?

I mean that should be enough to keep him in soft furnishings and Farrow & Ball for a lifetime.

Unfortunately even though Matty won it, his missus will already have spent the money on some tom kite. So he'll keep taking the UR pound for a while longer.

He went for £150k over a two bed apartment in Spain…. Should keep the wife stocked up in Moët for a month.

1 year deal, not exactly a ringing endorsement, but a wise move by Ulster to keep it short. Gives him something to play for.
