Got a feeling kicks for points are going to be critical in this match.

Doak needs to stop squealing at the ref and actually go for the ball.

No breakdown presence at all from the back row, in comparison Bulls slowing everything

Every Bulls drive has an air of inevitability about it. Either route 1 grind for the try or suck in cover and exploit the space Classic Boks

If you're tackled and you get up (illegally) and kick the tackler in the head. Is that dangerous play?

Is it just me or is Stockdale having a great game so far, I'm sure it will do his confidence the world of good!

Never mind Stockdale, was it just me or did Milasinovich have a good impact today?CIMANFOREVER wrote: ↑Sat Mar 25, 2023 10:14 pm100%. Long. Re: Ulster v bulls Sat 25th 7.35pm
second half was a lot better all round. Still got a lucky break at 26-20 with Du Plessi's idiotic attack on Billy's back. Bulls penalty and lineout could have made it a very different finish.
Still, job done for Ulster.

Rea was a pest when he came on. Bulky back row with Timoney, McCann and DV had no breakdown impact.

And a likely trip to Stormers. Noone will fancy Glasgow home or away though-titanic semi with Leireland looms.

Harry Sheridan was immense when he came on. His energy totally changed that Ulster team.
Re: Ulster v bulls Sat 25th 7.35pm
Munster will have to go full tilt away to the Stormers, the week after they play the Sharks over there in the Heiny. If they lose both URC games over there (to the Stomers and then the Sharks - again) there is a real risk that they could miss out on qualification for next season
Re: Ulster v bulls Sat 25th 7.35pm
He made a huge impact. Has to be in the 23 next week, although not sure if he should start at lock. Personally I'd go with Timoney, Rea and DV as the starting back row, with McCann and Sheridan on the bench. Not sure which 2 of the 3 locks to start. Tredwell has the ability but rarely delivers as a starter to the same extent as he does off the bench.
