Re: Ulster v Connacht
Any word from Petrie or the Mentalist yet, apologising or falling on their sword?
Will we see an end of season report/ inquest?
Any accountability or will it be the supporters or this forums fault?
Demographically, those from the other provinces are born with more guts, balls, brains and spine than in Ulster, so Dan is already at a disadvantage- so unfair

Unfortunately it's terminal. Symptoms can take a while develop, such as an unhealthy interest in cricket until it progresses to death while Morris dancing.Dave wrote:Sorry to hear. Can they operate?big mervyn wrote:I discovered today that I'm 52% Lionel maybe I should be moving on

I have seen it mentioned elsewhere. Whose idea was it to send Jacob out on the pitch at kickoff with his daughter in his arms? It set the wrong tone for a quarter final match.
There was no reason why Jacob could not have brought his daughter out at the end or did he suspect we were going to lose?

In fairness, mostly non existent. This site mostly calls out the mediocrity unlike the Bakebook fluffers- but then we're haters rather than pragmatists or realists.Dave wrote: ↑Sat May 06, 2023 11:33 amWhere are these posts about Ulster winning silverware? The brill brigade are a menace.Sir Ivor wrote:So the recriminations begin. I’ve never believed the hype I’ve read on this forum over many years about how Ulster should be competing for silverware each year - we rarely have a team that’s good enough, but our delusions persist. Anyone remember us having the best threequarter line in Europe ? Or the player who could be one of the top three in the world (if only he could run a lot faster, kick the ball better, catch it etc) ?
IMHO it would be more realistic to expect Ulster to finish in somewhere between 3rd and 6th position. We do not have the players; we do not have a player of definite international standard, though several who come close. One thing we should expect is more aggression and competitive spirit, especially among the backs who frequently seem to be boys against men. I suspect too many players have it too easy.
I’ll continue watching Ulster (yes on Viaplay) and hoping for the best but not rubbishing the whole club when we finish mid table.

It will only take 5 minutes to complete apparently. Ulster are brill. I love Pete Snodden and Dinky Donuts.
Second prize is two signed shirts etc...

Re: Ulster v Connacht
The fully fit ulster team sheet next season starts out pretty well at 1,2,3,4 but not much too much to shout about after that
Will Addison's stock has probably impoved this season given the impotency of the backline, which says it all really

Gutted doesn't cover it.
The intensity of the last 5- 10 mins - where was that earlier in the game.
All the bon homie- jacob at the start, leaving at the end- it's not a fecking carnival. Game head on, kill dead things, then do social media tom kite another day, not during a knock out.
Tell you what I'd love to see, a close up image of billy B not with a gurning face- hide it and play on- he never looks like he means business. A close up image of Hume not looking like a preening peacock. We're one tricky ponies and have been for a while. We got no maul chances out of leinster in the heinekin- we've been sussed.
We're in a far better place than we were with Les Kiss, but our ceiling has been reached- clear out and move on.
What a load of tom kite. Looking at the stormers and they're go forward via Roos and nouse out back- we were getting beat this weekend or next.
Tottenham we have become.
