Re: Where do we go from here?
Leinster's domination has its foundation in the schools system and Blackrock in particular , where the teams are created to play "pod" based rugby and nurture the individual potential star player. While Ulster schools base their game on the " fat boy approach " and your fast so "you play on the wing" -- you can kick --" your out half" etc -- an individual based rather than team attitude . tactically-- create space and then exploit it -- rather than power forward as far as possible regardless of purpose.
Leinster will continue to dominate Irish rugby provided they can continue to produce quality back row players and don't lose those they have to injury .
The key positions in attack and defence are back row and scrum half/ out half -- your set piece and ball retention are jobs of the front five -- front row and second row -- and the out side backs exploit or deny the opportunities created or left by the back row.
A good front five will keep you in a game a good back row will win it and good backs will decide the margin .
Ulster on occasion have had several good back row players only to lose them to injury
Ulster got merrily f--ked by the IRFU -- it was not just the firing of Jackson and Olding -- it was the manor in which it was done -- the basis on which it was done and the effect it had on the squad and any potential Ulster players and the its effect on Ulster supporters.

Re: Where do we go from here?
I always come back to something lacking in the culture of the set up. I think we all agree that we don't believe Ulster could have dug in like Munster did on Saturday, ffs we were physically wrecked in the last quarter of the last 16 clash with Leinster, if it had been a boxing match the ref would have stopped it. The system has little to do with getting fit, the schools have little to do with playing strategies. What I sense as a superiority attitude amongst some players (eg Hume strutting like a right dick after scoring an intercept try against Leinster thirds) does come from our school system (Inst master race ffs). Ulster lose the games that really matter, that transcends CEOs and Head Coaches. Go figure...but a lack of hard work and dedication is surely at the heart of the problem.
Re: Where do we go from here?
The schools are the basis of Leinster’s domination.
It’s the place where you learn the game and develop the skills .
It is the reason Leinster players make up nearly 2/3rds of the under 20 squad .
Fail at that level and you’ll never catch up
You may find the odd quality player but that will insufficient to create a team.

That's it rum. In a nutshell. It's all about them kids. Ulster will never be at that level. I certainly hope no one expects this.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Stuart Lancaster: Outgoing Leinster senior coach 'would like' to work in Ireland again. Planet rugby.
Get him signed up when he’s finished with Racing.

That’s probably what HE has in mind, but we can kidnap and brainwash him.

Well done Rob and Natalie.
Following his departure from Ulster Rugby, Rob Lyttle is looking forward to his new role as a recently approved foster carer with wife, Natalie, a teacher.
Their experience of working with children and young people through sport and education stands them in good stead, as does Natalie's upbringing which saw her family care for children through fostering and adoption, a positive experience they are keen to share with their own son and daughter.
Wishing you both the best of luck as you start your fostering journey!

From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!
