pre-season friendlies

Post by Setanta »

Any advance on Benetton ?
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!

Best to avoid Banbridge from the sounds of things.

Seems Banbridge supporters can tackle better than their team showing against Queens in their season league opener.

Quins pulled out of game tomorrow too. Can’t field a team.
Bit worrying at start of season for them. Rumoured to be pulling out of AIL.

A senior club not having a front row available is fairly damning...

Bar chatter heard in Quins bar day of Dromore game. Also hear joining up with Grosvenor or Cooke. Something about Auntie having balls and being an uncle too. Who knows???? What is fact is that Quins pulled out of game with no front row last Saturday and there were no other games being played by Quins teams that day. Bank holiday, maybe be all front row away at holiday homes??

Would have been nice to see something about this game on the URC website.
