Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
The rugby paper very loosely linking Ulster (but mostly Munster) to a move for Matt Gallagher from Bath.
Not sure there is much in it.

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
This is an odd one, he was at Munster for a couple of seasons and moved on, don't see the sense in us signing a back three player, it's our one area of relative strength.LegsLikeSausages wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 12:19 am The rugby paper very loosely linking Ulster (but mostly Munster) to a move for Matt Gallagher from Bath.

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
It was when Stockdale was in his try scoring pomp (looking back to somewhere near that), Bobby B was pushing Ireland, Rob Lyttle was doing his thing (how we could be doing with him now), Lowry was electrifying and Addison was gliding about the place.shamalicious wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 12:23 pmIs it an area of strength for us though?UlsterNo9 wrote:This is an odd one, he was at Munster for a couple of seasons and moved on, don't see the sense in us signing a back three player, it's our one area of relative strength.LegsLikeSausages wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 12:19 am The rugby paper very loosely linking Ulster (but mostly Munster) to a move for Matt Gallagher from Bath.

That being said I don't think Gallagher is what is needed to add some life back

Relative area of strength compared to the rest of the squad.....shamalicious wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 12:23 pmIs it an area of strength for us though?UlsterNo9 wrote:This is an odd one, he was at Munster for a couple of seasons and moved on, don't see the sense in us signing a back three player, it's our one area of relative strength.LegsLikeSausages wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 12:19 am The rugby paper very loosely linking Ulster (but mostly Munster) to a move for Matt Gallagher from Bath.

French Media on Twitter saying Ultan Dillane is not renewing his La Rochelle contract, no doubt there will be speculation linking him with one of the provinces.
Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
Take him in an absolute heart beat.
Though I imagine he would be Munster bound.

Sarries have got very squeaky bum time over this and denied it through their supporters forum. Imagine Sarries being moral guardianssolidarity wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 8:33 pmBetter, level-headed wee article thanthat Planetrugby thing.

Is a 32 year old the answer to a problem for a key position, never mind any perceived baggage, I would say he is not a long term solution.

Billy name-checked in this article (admittedly in a longlist that includes most fly-halves from the past 5 years)

An eclectic list of off-contract international fly-halves being circulated is thought to have included Adam Hastings of Gloucester as well as Ulster’s Billy Burns and Aaron Cruden, Callum Sheedy, Damian McKenzie, Gareth Anscombe, Nicolás Sánchez and Rhys Patchell
Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
McKenzie is under contract until the end of 2025.
