Well let’s see, Jackman does get transfer rumours wrong a fair bit. I’m a fan of Billy, but this could only happen in the context of an IRFU-orchestrated shuffle you’d imagine, in order to get the front-line tens from an international pov getting regular starts at the provinces
I’m not so sure.
Billy’s contract is up in the summer.
He’s been binned off by Ireland and slagged off left, right and centre.
His agent will have been seeing what’s out there and he will have options.
The Munster interest will have been relatively recent, given JC’s desire to see how good the physios are in France.
I’m not sure it’d make a massive amount of sense to join Munster as second choice but France, Japan or even England may have more appeal.
Harry Byrne and Ciaran Frawley last signed new deals with Leinster ahead of the 2022/23 season. The length of the deals wasn't disclosed, BUT could be one of them.

It will be Harry Byrne I reckon
...who is tom kite squared. Also, his joints, ligaments and tendons appear to be made out of meringue and ice cream wafers. He's likely to dislocate himself putting on his boots.

why not go for 29 year old Ross Byrne?
OK, he picked up an injury post RWC but he has plenty left and loads of experience.
I would absolutely love to sign Ross Byrne but there is absolutely no chance, he is Leinster's main man and that's not going to change in the immediate future.

Leinster don't make the length of contract extensions public so unsure which of the 10s in Dublin have a renewal this Summer.

Could this be the 1st fingerprint of a DHumph orchestrated move? It would be hard to argue that an outhalf with a different style from BB could get more out of what is a talented backline on paper....
