Or put it off in their 22 to get back to 15 as the 10 was up!

Most blatent off feet u will ever see on 76 minutes. Ref bottled it. Leads to stormers 50-22 and us likely losing our BP.

We lose a lineout in their 22, then their hooker kicks a 50-22🙈🙈

OK, we were profligate. Those Cooney pk misses were shocking, we lacked the nous to turn our pressure into opportunities.

However, this ref was consistent in consistently being out of his depth. He was poor at best, atrocious as a general observation and downright incompetent as a gut feeling.

Final score 13 - 7

At least some green shoots seen today.
Most would have taken the LBP beforehand.

Fantastic effort from the lads. A pack of Warwick, Stewart, Wilson, Sheridan, izzy, mccann, rea, timoney digging in.
Jury still out on doak
A few poor decisions from us and the ref went against us, but more positives than negatives on the whole.

I see Jonathan Bradley was doing the live online feed for the BBC after leaving the BT.

Usually I would say if the players made as few errors as the ref, then we can complain about the refereeing.

Today wasn't so much players making as few as the ref, as the ref making as many - and more - than the players.

Monumental performance by Ulster, but with some mistakes as you would expect, bu the difference between the sides today WAS the ref.

Usually it's the big decisions that matter, but he just got so many small deciosions wrong and it cost possession at the wrong times.

And, btw, he got some wrong for Stormers too, but mostly against the away team.

Just not good enough for this level. Was he Scottish?????
I'm not arguing -
I'm just explaining why I'm right

Ref had home team goggles on! That said it was a greatly improved performance by Ulster! Doak did OK but is not the long term answer. A glimmer of hope in terms of attitude at least!

Doak done good.

Not sure why people are singling him out. An improvement in Billy Burns.

Looking at fixtures to come both benneton and the ospreys have to go to SA still. Benetton come to us and Ospreys go to leinster also. Still a big opportunity to to finish 6th.

Wilson.... :bounce: Needs to start soon.
Stupid decision making cost us. But LBP was my bottom line. 1 from 10 points is not a good optic but in fairness plenty of guts and some great individual performances from the cubs which is what I wanted. Embra beaten similarly at Sharks who now seem to be clicking and will hammer teams at home, and be difficult away if they have their BOKKE.
Doak needs time and to lose his overtime casualness.
Some shoring up needed as neither McIroy or Lowry are the answer.
Comment on scrum- lottery and Stormers FR got away with angled engagement allow the wheel. Our front row should've raised it but didnt
