I mitched off for the day. Un/fortunately it was the day of my 11+ (yes I'm THAT old). Maybe if I'd missed the all blacks, I'd have got into a better school and would have had a chance of playing at Ravenhill... Nah, you're right, the correct decission was to go and see the All Blacks!
That's the first Ulster match I definitley remember, but I'd been going for a few seasons before that. Interpros and the likes of Yorkshire, Lancashire, ... Also remember going to see Ulster v Italy (I'm guessing 81/82). Now those guys HAVE improved!
