Worked a gig at which JF played in early 90s (??) It was crap.

Never saw any of the later come-back shows, but was left with the feeling that there's something to be said for bowing out at the top

Saw them at Customs House Sq.in 2019

They were all right but were a bit rusty. Pat McManus was the support and he was on fire, which didn't help. Reminded me of Jerry Lee Lewis' "follow that n/$÷#×" when he was forced to open for Chuck Berry.

Gordon Lightfoot has left us.

I put on the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald the week before last, after a day trip to Rathlin, and wondered how he was doing….
