Are you surprised considering what's on offer at the ground?

There was nothing on offer in one of the bars behind the west terrace (Club Bar?). They stopped serving Heineken and Murphys before kick-off.

Is it my imagination or has Izzy really filled out and become a bit of a monster? Let's hope so.

Guinness Original is fine from the can (better from a bottle mind). The draught stuff is a different matter.
Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

Even HWM doesn't drink it straight from the tin. He uses one of the plastic pint "glasses" he got at the bar before moving on to his carry-out.

It was Big Mervyn, on the East Terrace with the empty Guinness cans.

Case closed.

Had forgotten you could get original Guinness in a can.... you can buy Beamish now in all Lidls in the south, I've been picking it up everytime I head to Donegal. Great stuff.

... in passing, there being no other thread that might be remotely relevant...
Just watched the big tackles compilation from last season: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trl_41pmsVE
Look at how often Bobby Baloucoune appears. More than anyone else I think.

...again, in passing, great to see a bunch of about twenty school kids in Exeter shirts in Bangor on Saturday. I assume a club or school group over to see the match and the lights of the big city. The more the merrier.

Such a natural defender. He has the power which many players do but the timing of the hit combined with an optimal body angle is key. Great player in attack and defence.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Indeed.

There were a few blokes still around last night.

Every credit to the Swiss bunch in McHugh’s yesterday for the ice hockey too.

They're from Devon - may as well take in the big city experience when they can. :duck:
