I gave credit to Connacht when it was deserved and yes, I know ulster have missed tackles etc, but it is difficult to compete when it appears the ref is only reffing one team at the breakdown?

I'm trying to look at the match as a whole, not just for errors by beagle or others and that means I comment on everything I see, not just selected bits.

If you are looking at the match as a whole, then how are you not seeing the multiple penalties we have been awarded at the breakdown?

I will simply say I cannot remember ever seeing a ref completely forbid any attempt at a turnover at the breakdown, nobody has been allowed to compete for the ball when perfectly placed and on their feet.

Every match we've played this season the opposition can make huge gains with ball in hand but Ulster with ball in hand go sideways. Ulster need to settle and be patient, flinging the ball around is silly.
