After a few dull fixtures that game tonight has reignited the competition.
Be nice to see the underdog sides go all out with a nothing to lose spirit instead of only starting to play when they fall behind like they have been.

Two world cup wins both by cheating.
Oh theres another sitter missed shock horror.
I would quote an appropriate comment from Patches O'Houlihan from Dodgeball but some people might seem it inappropriate.
If you can catch a wrench, you can catch a ball?

Absolutely. There's little more annoying than watching teams who don't even seem to be trying to get up the field to create chances. I think you mentioned Mexico earlier. Every "smaller" team should try learning from what they did to a heavyweight and give themselves a great chance to get through. No point whinging about not getting beyond the first round when you don't even bother trying.

Assume Brazil will win without too much fuss.

If Iceland can manage to win they will be as good as through. Hopefully they will really try to make that happen and give us a decent game.

Serbia v Switzerland could be good. Neither are great teams but a lot of the time those games can throw up an entertaining contest and Serbia definitely should be looking for the win so they don't have to worry going into the Brazil game.

Iceland will probably stick to their usual game plan which will really frustrate the Nigerians. Nigeria struggle with end product so I can forsee another Icelandic conquest. What a fantastic achievement it would be for Iceland to qualify for the last 16. I would almost consider shopping there but it is a bit too far to go just for microwave pizzas and multipack cornettos.

Costa Rica again couldnt score in a brothel during happy hour.
Iceland one down but the Icelandic clap is one of the great things in sport.
There are creams available that can help apparently.

Leicester fans must be doing their nut as that Musa was what they thought they were signing.
Gutted though because this throws the Argies a lifeline

It does Dave.
Think Messi is slipping to Worlds second best of his era now.
Just don't think Ronaldo would have allowed himself to
be as invisible as Messi has been.
Commentators blaming systems but Ronaldo would never want to be a footnote to a game.
Messi has one game to salvage this though and despite loathing their countries footy teams I love watching them both play to their best.

Great net avoidance once again on view this time the Serbs and the Swiss are at it.
One guy even crossed the ball instead of shooting from about 6 yards

It's an interesting debate. I'll save it until their careers have come to an end. Although Ronaldo wants to play until he is 40! I think they feed off each other and neither would have been as great without the rivalry. Messi has basically one last chance to redeem himself at this tournament. Let's see what he's got.
