Absolutely speechless. Usually quite reserved when it comes to officiating but that was awful.

You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

Defenders foot was on the line and the ball was short of said foot?

Adamson did call on field decision no try, TMO advised try.

Having said that, scenario should never havr arisen, forward passes and wrong penalty calls in the run up.

The fact that he said it was no try suggests that it probably was one; I thought it looked grounded in real time.

I agree he grounded it, just wrong side of the line!

Don't worry the board refs will defend him. Might even create a thread for it.

Adamson seems to let forward passes go on the hugely mistaken assumption that it’s fine and dandy for them to be picked up if a try immediately results.

It’s extremely flawed logic and has just cost Castres a place in the next round, landed Ulster (most likely) a game against the Champs and deprived me of 100 quid.

Whilst the approach may work for a potential no ball in cricket, not passing forwards is as fundamental a law in rugby as there could possibly be and needs to be enforced.

He may have fooled some of you earlier in the season with an uncharacteristically borderline competent performance but the man needs to be sent in the same direction as Fitzgibbon without further ado.

Woke up this morning still gutted for Castres!

I hope Adamson had a troubled nights sleep >threaten

Anyone else notice how poor Boticas kicking was, he was clean through 5 metres in front of try line and just sropped the ball with no one near him. He was also the offside Adamson gave in the third before last penalty for offside.

It’s simple.

On field decision no try.
TMO checks to see if it’s conclusive. If not then it goes with on field decision.

Appalling refereeing from both TMO and Adamson.

Absolutely disgusting. Why does the referees manager let him continue destroying teams chances? Is Rolland the referees manager?
