Being quite realistic

England were going to score a try when 36 blocked a defender

7 points

England were in the corner through Nowell when 36 threw a forward pass

5 points

Ireland lose by 2 by virtue of stopping playing when wee Mads came on

Story of both 22s not being good enough
The fact is that despite your evidence England failed to breach our line. Had Murray's kick been two feet further right Henshaw would have landed in touch no try and so on. The only things that count are the ones that actually happen.

Beautiful creative rugby is overrated imho!

But then you're a back, aren't you Snipe?

I should add that one of the most beautiful things I've seen on a rugby pitch in recent weeks was the Ulster scrum versus Treviso. Truly a thing of beauty!
Can I come out from behind the sofa yet?

Wrong caption Fleg, he's saying " get the ball here, drop it onto you slipper & wellie it. Don't bother about position, I don;t want anybody exhausting themselves chasing it, just blarg it."

I give you Doakieball.

Thing is every team in the world kick more than pass, Doakieball is not unique, South Africa won a world cup with it. But when Doakieball & Clarkiepack aren't remotely in sync, you get loseball.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

We demolished Montpellier with a kicking game ... done well it's useful and gets in their heads ... done badly ... you might get a losing bonus point!!!!

Done well is the key to that one and we are missing Trimble who is the essential animal for running at the opposition and scaring the crap out of them so they drop the ball or run over the sideline before he rips their arms off.
