Playing any more than one of those at a time means we would struggle in the league nevermind super duper cup. Ross / Rea or Jones can do a job if combined with 2 starters.

We could see Hendo at 6 perhaps if there are some injuries in the backrow. Treadwell has demonstrated that he is capable of SDC level performances. With our new 2nd row on route, it gives us that flexibility. During the RWC there should the opportunity to blood a nipper or two. Jones has impressed me with more gametime he could improve further.

My worry exactly! we need another back that is up there and ready to fight for a starting position. Not a Ross/Rea/Jones type that will cover when required. That's not mention any of our main 4 backorders becoming injure....

May as well not mention Rea Jnr, McCann, Allison, Dunleavy at this stage.

I like Matty Rea.

The surprising thing about him is not so much that he is a couple of years older than Timoney and Treadwell, but that he’s only 12 months younger than the Dublin Strangler.

I really like Rea Snr also, he has had it bad with injuries and getting a string of consecutive games together. I really hope he pushes on next season. We need a blindside and I think he really could balance our backrow.

Hopefully we see some of the younger backrowers against Leinster and not just Clive (and to a certain extent Jones whose ceiling I also question)
