Plenty of places around the ground for decent burgers before you go in, the chippie at greenaway does rugby specials on match nights.

We shouldn't have to go outside the ground - think thats the point of the thread!tommya wrote:Plenty of places around the ground for decent burgers before you go in, the chippie at greenaway does rugby specials on match nights.
Would still like to see some sort of asian food, similar to what can be got in the continental markets, curries and rice, noodle dishes, sweet and sour etc

Definitely felt that the "Food Village" was an improvement over the old catering arrangements the few times I've used it. Prices seemed comparable with other outdoor events and cheaper than at T-vital.
But in all honesty I usually eat outside Ravenhill before or after the game.

Am i the only one who when first reading the title of this thread didn't know what "scran" was? I'd never heard of it.
Obvious after reading the post, but still...is it a common word nowadays?

Lucky you guys didn't misinterpret it and go crying to the mods or directly to the media that you were being racially abused.Jackie Brown wrote:Don't worry Browner, I'd never heard of it either.

Think it is an old Navy term but it was often used in the Liverpool based series 'Brookside',probably because of the strong Liverpool/Navy connections.
