So what will the back row be now?
Doyle to fill in at 7 with Henry moving to 8?
Ferris to 7, McComish to 6, Henry to 8?
Henderson to 8?
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

Big blow, he is IMHO our biggest weapon at the minute, without Wilson (who Williams may be in front of anyway) or Diak we are looking very short at 8.

I agree re bringing in Henderson if he's definitely out, but will be praying its just bruising!

If it is it's 2-6 weeks.
Not necessarily. He’ll have got the right treatment straight away. Popped it back in if it hadn’t gone back in itself ice straight away. Could be back pain free in 4/5 days, but it could a couple of weeks.

Very sore

Popped rib = broken rib

They don't dislocate, they only break

They dislocate its proper name is a subluxated rib.

They don't. They break, at least unless there is abnormal anatomy. In theistic they could dislocate at the spine, but not by an inward trauma. "Subluxated rib" is a term used by chiropractors, and never by doctors

Well in that case, it's obviously wrong then.

I am a bit dubious of chiropracters - highly unregulated.

As for the rib - I bust a couple 2 years ago and there's no way I'd have been able to play rugby after 6 weeks. Sneezing was still a major trauma at that stage.

Move Ferris to 8, Henderson to 6 and Henry at 7.

Broken or bruised it doesn't really matter both are very painful and slow to heal .

one of major sets backs being you never get a good nights sleep any movement in bed is extremely sore.

 nope, no fights, perhaps a little of frustration about last nights performance coming out!

In any case, broken, bruised or otherwise, safe to say he will not feature in the first two heini games.

So some big decisions for MA. Last year would have been easy, just start Brady at 8, but think MA may prefer the more traditional approach

For me I reckon Doyle, Ferris and Henry at 8. Far from ideal tho, we could really do with Robbie or Roger back ASAP!!

If I remember correctly Rory Best returned after a popped rib the following week when playing for Ireland.
Get JD to lay off the fitness training for a week and bribe Nick with 20 Big Macs if he is fit for Friday, that should do the trick.

Sure a bruise could be a wee light bang and back in a week. Any sort of fracture is 6wks at least
