The boys did not turn up for this match terrible performance we should be hammering teams like this tonight.

Attitude above all else.
Arrogance personified and when you have a coach in complete denial as per his interview last week, its no shock.

Fleg… is that not one of the many skills that our new Forward, Defensive, Specialist Coach from Japan sorry North Harbour will bring with him next year… once of course he finishes his current job in Sydney where he is still listed as DoR.Cornerfleg wrote:In the past for me he has been Leinster blinkered... I have a lot of time for him and he did good work with Ulster in the past.
I'd take him back as scrum coach on a heart beat
As regards a forwards coach ... Yes please I'd like one!

I've really no idea who this guy is or what his cv is... But unless we've ant and Dec lined up to replace Beavis and Butthead... I'll take a punt on whoever the newbie is...

After about 60 minutes today, I started laughing. Continuously. And I started to feel proud of them for producing such a uniquely, catastrophically, historically awful performance (Gilroy aside). I'm relatively new to following the team, but that is without a doubt, comfortably the worst performance I have ever seen from them. Anyone else got a comparison?

This season has reminded me of McCall's final months and the ensuing aftermath.
Thankfully the league is not up to the same standard anymore.

I wouldn't buy the 2007-2008 season DVD, let's put it that way.rorybestsbigbaldnoggin wrote:After about 60 minutes today, I started laughing. Continuously. 2000/2001 wasn't exactly Oscar material either....

Re: Manshamed....
Has bad as the 2007/8 season was, this seasons seems just as bad, because we have a far better team (on paper anyway) and also expectations weren't has high as they are now.

Re: Manshamed....
I actually think our kicking game can work quite well when its done accurately and we have the likes of Bowe, Trimble and Payne chasing. The first two in particular I think are two of the best wings in Europe at it and when they're playing it can work quite well. The problem for me is that we haven't the nouse to realise when they're not playing it doesn't work. Allen and gilroy are both good players, but they have different strengths and we don't play to them.Cornerfleg wrote:Hoofball is dead... Doak wise up or get lost.

I say give Ant and Dec a shout, surely it would be more entertaining than the current setup?Cornerfleg wrote:I've really no idea who this guy is or what his cv is... But unless we've ant and Dec lined up to replace Beavis and Butthead... I'll take a punt on whoever the newbie is...

Re: Manshamed....
Of course having a good kick chase game is a lethal weapon, esp when as you say we have two superb wingers who can chase and thump or if you hang off them, run at you... But you need 2 good wingers and someone who can kick...MightyRearranger wrote:I actually think our kicking game can work quite well when its done accurately and we have the likes of Bowe, Trimble and Payne chasing. We have none of those at the minute... Few idiots enter a gun fight with neither a gun or ammunition.... Bar Tweedledee and Tweedledum....
Let's put it this way, if Doak had said, guys we obviously don't have the personnel to kick and chase everything, let's just build pressure.... And the team produced that dung against orders ....do you reckon Doak would have offered that insipid drivel of an interview after that feck up!!!!!
