Depends how much you want to spend, Connacht hotel a bit away from centre, then you have Harbour and Raddison or in centre there is Merrick and Park House, several others also but be warned that they are all well up in price this year

I was looking on Booking.com and the prices have dropped in the last few days e.g. The Connacht Hotel is now coming in at £180, the Nox Hotel £144 and Flannerys £144 all for 2 nights.

I took a flyer and booked the Connacht Hotel the day the fixtures were released and got it for €104 room only for a night.(on Booking.com) I was happy enough as didn't know how easy or hard it would be to get tickets given the season Connacht had.

It's nice to have the cancellation option up to a few days before your stay.

Anyway, tickets got without any bother so Galway here we come. :fleg:

Galway is a great away trip and many make a weekend of it, but for those already with match tickets and struggling for accommodation or prices of hotels, you may want to consider the URSC day trip option. Details on www.ursc.co

Useful if staying out of town and you come past it towards the ground/town. Not much point going to it from the town as you actually go past the ground to get to it. Loads of pubs in the centre itself. As previously mentioned, the Connacht lads will be in Murty Rabbits which is a good pub :D

... the subtle difference is the wind is from a more easterly direction. A rare change to the norm. Looking forward to it. No coat required.
