To be fair, a decent number of comments were saying that PJ should be back in contention for a green shirt.

And the one comment that hit the nail on the head is that Paddy would probably tell the FIRFU to fack away aff.

Couldn't actually bring my self to read it. I don't want to awaken such emotion.

Yes. In all of these discussions, it quickly becomes clear who followed the trial in some detail and who didn't.

Some people should not be allowed to access the internet.

There are two view points on the trial -- those who read the many daily paper reports ( not every report reported every thing - some female reporters were very selective and biased from the start -- the poor little victim --shouldn't have to prove she was raped sort of attitude )

And those who then read the latter reports and failed to actually realise the proof did not exist --

The accuser started with a lie -- and lied from start to finish lies of commission and omission . the most significant of which was the existence of a witness -- female -- and there isn't a decent woman alive who would allow 2 men to rape another woman if she had even the slightest reason to believe rape was being committed .

I would love to see London Irish play Ulster and to see the reception Paddy would get at RAVENHILL in side the ground compared to"the shawlies and fish wives " at the gate .

Do we think the season is starting on the 16th?

I see the English fixtures are out, with kick off being on the 9th.

Fair chance Week 1 of URC starts weekend of September 16-18, as you say Premiership kicking off on Friday 9th with final on Saturday May 27th. French starting on weekend of September 2-4 with final on Saturday June 17th.

Now that the fixture list is out I will ask the silly question; is there any coverage of the two friendly games, tv or radio ? :duck:
