Small mob (numbers ways) at the Hotel California this morning, management must look into scale of fries, not good enough value for a fiver.

Youngman was there, looking tired and emotional, didn't recognise many others there except a temperance tempted Goody (lasted a whole half)

and Coke guzzling Ash plus someone who reminded me of Dead Ball.

'Crowd' mood swung from optimistic to almost ecstatic to tired and emotional. That's it until next season, so near and yet very, very far for Ireland.
